The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. NSS is A University of Mumbai affiliated committee. It was established in the year 2000-01 at SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce. Our College has two NSS Units & the team consists of total 200 enthusiastic volunteers who denote the selfless services and provide hands in delivering community service. Volunteers from Eight different streams (B.Com, BMS, BMM, B.Com (AF), B.Com (BI), B.Com (FM) , B.Sc. IT, B.Sc. CS are involved. NSS Units Conducts Various Activities which includes Tree Plantation, Blood Donation, Rallies & Street Play, Cleanliness Drive (Swatch Bharat Abhiyan), Disaster Management Training, Celebration of Festivals and National / International Days, Health & Safety Awareness Campaigns, 7 days Residential Camp
